Safety by design
Tink sessions only exist between people who chose each other: you touch phones together in person, accept an invite from a previous partner, or open a link someone sent you. There is no discovery, no browsing, and no way for a stranger to message you. Chat is text and reactions only — no images can be sent on Tink.
Reporting
From inside any session you can report a chat message, or a partner’s name, in a couple of taps. Reporting is invisible to the other person and doesn’t interrupt your session. When you report, Tink preserves a snapshot of the recent chat as evidence — the one exception to chat being deleted when a session ends (details in the Privacy Policy).
Every report is reviewed by a person — promptly, usually within a day. Outcomes range from no action to suspending the reported account — and deleting an account does not lift a suspension.
Blocking
You can block anyone you’ve planned with from ever inviting you again. Blocking is silent: the blocked person cannot tell — their invites simply never arrive.
